Back in July 1996 we had our first rehearsal together and went on to play shows all over the world and achieve more than we could ever dream. Two decades and six studio albums later it’s time for a new chapter. Si has been a central part of InMe and we wish him all the best in everything life brings him.
InMe lives on, we are excited about plans we have in the works and new music from InMe is on the horizon.
Big love one and all and massive love to Simon,
Dave, Greg and Gazz.
Statement from Simon below…
“Hey guys. Simon here.
After just over 20 years with InMe, I’ve decided to end my chapter with the band to start penning a new one. Life takes twists and turns for us all, and now is the best time for me to concentrate my efforts on something new.
The memories and experiences I’ve collected through the privileged position of being part of the band are nothing short of incredible. I want to take this opportunity to thank every single one of you for all the support and love you have given to me and the boys. Through the stages of starting the band as a young lad, to growing up with it into adulthood, it’s helped guide me, and given me a wonderful platform to experience so much of what all you lovely people have to offer.
There is no doubt the band will carry on in the same fashion of making great and honest music. And I wish the band all the success it deserves in the future.
Everyone who’s worked with me over the years, thank you so much.
Thank you all again, from the bottom of my heart!
And to Dave, Greg and Gazz. My love and respect to you all.”- Simon Taylor.
